Vermont gravel weekend for women riders looking to experience stunning gravel routes in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom in a supportive and encouraging environment. We have all-day epic rides for those who want them, and more mellow routes for those finding their gravel legs. A SAG vehicle will provide us with water, snacks, lunch and a ride back to base whenever you’ve had enough! Intimidated by class IV (‘Vermont pavé’)? We’ll work on that, and talk climbing, descending and cornering techniques, as well as tips for training, nutrition and pacing. Build community, confidence and stoke as you experience gravel in all its remote and stunning beauty.
VT gravel is not flat! Expect an average of 1000 ft of climbing for every 10 miles of distance. We will take breaks and pace ourselves. These are no-drop rides. The beauty of this weekend is that when you’ve had enough, even if you’re in the middle of nowhere (and we will be!) there will be the option to hop in the SAG vehicle.
